CLEAR has finally released the Mac OS X driver for the 3G/4G Dual Mode USB modem. To re-cap, 3G/4G Dual Mode USB modem is the device that allows you to connect to both the CLEAR 4G WiMAX network and also the nationwide Sprint 3G data network. This is a premium device that helps negate any 4G signal issues by allowing you to connect to 3G when 4G is not available. Until now this was Windows only. If you are ready to test it out you can download the driver via the link below. We have yet to test this driver so please leave a comment your experience.

DO NOT TRY THIS SOLUTION

Only the 3G connection works when using OSX 10.5, cannot connect to 4G WiMax using this Sprint software. And now the U300 no longer works in my PC (or any other computer for that matter) since trying this solution. Now I have to wait for Clear to send me a replacement modem, so thanks for that...

Thanks for the report. I am glad CLEAR support was able to take care of you.
If you have a problem with software go to clear.com search devices and drivers.. scroll down to download drivers.
Scroll down to your device. Click on it then click on the drover type. Windows, or Mac click on that and run..it will take 5-10 mins tops to install then continue through and accept terms and you will have updated your software. This is something i have been having to do for customers you can do it yourself though. You just need to go somewhere that you can connect to the internet! Hope this helps at all
