Very useful post, thank you. The video showed a significant improvement with the docking station, which incidentally is just $10 from Clear.

A warning though, if you're sitting at the coffee shop with your clear modem and your earbuds in, the second segment of the video is way louder than the first. Don't spill your coffee while ripping your ear buds out. Just the voice of experience here...
